  1. Mean   Gene   Okerlund     miss   him     Hulk   Hogan   you   did  a  great   speech     right   now    I`m   one  sad   wwe   fan   right   now   &  I`m  not   happy   anymore    God   help  us   all   Brother

  2. Very Cool, hi WWE it is I the SkyWalker writing to comment about this video if I may, very cool: if I may I have to admit I had to fight back tears on this one. If I may continue, growing up I was not allowed to watch a lot of things on television…the one consistent my momma let me watch was Wrestling, Mr. Mean Gene Okerlund was a familiar face, a familiar name and a familiar voice. This is a hard hard loss for anyone who have been in the Wrestling community for a long time, my deepest condolences to the Okerlund family and my prayers and well wishes to the WWE family and fans who are going through this tough time.

  3. As Lance Russell was to Jerry "The King" Lawler, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was to Hulk Hogan. Lance Russell last year, now Mean Gene, I'm watching my childhood heroes leaving me here I am a 48 year old man and I'm crying like an 8 year old little boy.

  4. I spent many Saturday mornings with Mean Gene as a kid…he was an integral part of the success of the then, WWF and in more recent years WWE. I appreciate the entertainment he brought and my thoughts are with his family, friends, and countless fans. RIP

  5. Welcome back hulk! As much u annoy me sometimes when i hear the terrible things from backstage but the fact of the matter is YOU are a legend! YOU made wrestling and i prob wouldve never been a fan of it was for being a child during the hogan era of the 80s and 90s… when u die it will be another sad day in wrestling

  6. I’ve forgiven hulk. It’s just in my nature to do so. No one is perfect, I know I’m not, and I will always want others to forgive my shortcomings, so I better sure as hell forgive others. Love the person hate the act.

I thought it was a touching tribute, Mean Gene was elevated because of Hogan, and Hogan was likewise elevated thanks to Mean Gene. Those two were a great pare and had amazing chemistry together.
