With less than 100 days until the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™ gets underway, a festival of friendly action has been taking place this week – with almost every one of the 24 teams destined for the global stage in action.
Some of the world’s best players have been featuring in exhibition tournaments like the SheBelieves Cup, the Algarve Cup, the Cyprus Cup and the Cup of Nations.

England 2-1 Brazil | SheBelieves Cup | 27 February
The Arsenal Women forward struck a superb effort from the right wing less than ten minutes after coming on as a substitute, later confirming to FIFA.com in an exclusive interview that the goal “was a shot not a cross, just so everyone’s clear!”
Brazil 1-3 Japan | SheBelieves Cup | 2 March
The 2011 Women’s World Cup winners, and 2015 finalists, look in decent shape out at the SheBelieves Cup. After scoring in the Nadeshiko‘s opening 2-2 draw with the USA, Momiki set Japan on the way to a resounding victory against Brazil.

The midfield maestro’s magnificent volley set the tone for a pulsating clash, with two of France 2019’s favourites ultimately sharing the spoils in Nashville.
Argentina 0-2 New Zealand | Cup of Nations | 3 March
The Football Ferns defender grabbed her first ever international goal from a remarkable distance.
Australia 4-1 Korea Republic | Cup of Nations | 3 March
After scoring in the Matildas’ Cup of Nations opener against New Zealand, the tricky winger doubled her tally for the friendly tournament with a fine individual effort.
