The Wizards defeated the Cavaliers tonight in Washington, D.C. by a final score of 119-106. Bobby Portis became just the second player in Wizards franchise history to score 30 points in his first game with the team (A. Jamison – 34 points on 11/3/2004 at MEM) and the first player in NBA history to score 30+ points in back-to-back games within a single season while playing for a different team in each game, as he recorded 30 points (12-18 FG) and 6 rebounds to lead the Wizards. Bradley Beal added 25 points and 13 assists in the victory. Collin Sexton led the Cavaliers with 27 points (10-18 FG) and 4 assists, while Kevin Love finished with 4 points (1-5 FG) in his return from injury. With the win, the Wizards improve to 23-32, while the Cavaliers fall to 11-44.

  1. Chicago bulls fan here. Never really listen to the wizards announcers but that one dude is sounding surprised with Portis’ shooting. That man has been on FIRE the last couple of games

  2. Otto Porter looked great tonight so I can’t complain but Portis and Parker are amazing players and it’s sad to see them go, they can both play so Wizards fans you guys got some good players. I wish them luck though I’ll always be fans of them!

  3. Portis can ball man. He was the SEC Player of the year and a first rounder for a good reason. If he can stay healthy & get consistent minutes he can be extremely valuable for the Wizards. He is a difference maker that needed a fresh start. The Bulls are a proud franchise who's city and fans deserve better! They need to make some changes. They will never compete consistently with the people they have running(ruining is more like it) the show in the windy city. I'm not a Bulls fan, but as a basketball fan I hate seeing it.
