Windies Claim Famous Series Win | Windies vs England 2nd Test Day 3 2019 – Highlights

Total Video Views: 779238

Windies are celebrating a famous series win after beating England by 10 wickets in the second Test in Antigua.

Our partnerships with international broadcasters limit us to showing 2 minute and 45 minute highlights. We know this isn’t ideal, especially for the 2 minute version when 10 wickets have fallen in a day. That’s why we provide the full 45 minutes too on this channel. We’ll have different formats in 2020, but unfortunately not for 2019.

  1. That is a shocking Day 3 wicket. I wouldn't read too much into England's batting troubles in this series – batting on surfaces like that is a complete lottery, with a number 11 having much the same chances of survival as a number 3 (ie not much)..

  2. Very heartening to see West indies cricket back to what they've been doing best – letting their balls talk!! πŸ™‚
The wicket may have helped them, but it was the same for Jimmy and Stuart. if the bowlers should add a little more zip and nip to their bowling and they can make any batsman jump and dance on the crease!
They have a very charismatic and sincere guy as their captain who can pull this team up to the top. Hope Sir Viv agrees wit me. πŸ™‚

To all those who keep saying that Test batting techniques are no different from T20 batting, just watch the bat and body positions of Johnny Bairstow and Ben Stokes (top and middle order Test batsmen) in the clip above. if a Wicket is important in Test Cricket then this is not how a top order Test batsman should be playing. Sadly, the number of clean, stylish and technically pure cricketing shots were few. @ECB_cricket

  3. I must congratulated the WI team for winning a series against the mighty England since 2009,because over the years poor selection. The team is still not balance as yet,but you have to give them credit for beating England.

  4. With the suspension of Holder about the slow over rates, it is all bullshit that the ICC is doing. I Strongly believe that the ICC having too much power, to do what they want to do.They only change the rules when England is not too good, just like in the 1976 series. When the wi team gave them 4/0 ,they changed the rules of the game. That 90 overs or more must bowled for the day, else the team is going to be fined for slow over rates. But nobody from the rest of the cricketing world challenges the ICC, because the wi team was on of the world. The ICC came with those rules, to preventing the wi team from using the 4 fast bowlers over a period of time. Because they would be fined in almost every games they played, so the whole thing is just a trick against the wi team.

  5. Vintage windies are back, wt a champions dey wer in 80' and 90's i am happy for windies, n to bowl in this passion, d short deliveries like the way back in 80's…..!!!!knock out eng with 3 -0 , and be back as "the ruthless cricketing nation" once again…. Condolences for alzari and cheers for windies cricket..πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸΎπŸΎ

  6. its all about success cycles guys…look at Australia now…remember india days….remember west indies ruled the world for 20 years..and no one has done that since..India is going great guns behind the best bats man in the world now kohli..but in 5 years or less watch out.south Africa is the only team to stay in the middle of the pack consistently…but lack of international cricket in the apartheid days deprived them of that killer instinct that they lack..study the montreal canadiens, pittsburgh steelers, chicago bulls, la lakers,ny Yankee…success cycles..
