  1. I am sure Mark Cuban will offer Dirk a front office position as soon as he decides to retire from professional play. Dirk is what forged that franchises identity and he has always been loyal and willing to work with Cuban. Im sure Cubes probably respects Dirk more than almost anyone and will make sure Dirk always has a home in the mavericks franchise.

  2. I grew up seeing MJ in his prime. He is the GOAT and was my all-time favorite. As an adult who moved to Dallas after college and got to watch Dirk up close in his prime, I can say he is my all-time favorite NBA player. I love that guy. Gonna be tears when he hangs it up.

  3. I remember when I met Dirk. This was 2007 or 2008 when Greg Buckner was playing for the Mavs. He had the Greg Buckner foundation and there was a bowling night. My dad spend quite a bit of money to get in and we got to bowl with Josh Howard, Dirk, and former coach Avery Johnson. I remember telling Dirk I was his biggest fan. He replied "really? That's so cool!" It was one of the best nights of my life.

  4. Me being born and raised in Dallas I cannot name a more influential athlete for our city. Yeah we have Troy aikmen, and others but…he brought us our first championship..he beat lebron! The one I consider to be the best player in the world! He single handily spread fear throughout the nba for his fade away. I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for my city. When you leave I might even cry..Dallas give this man a statue 💙💙💙

  5. To keep it real , the nba has changed the game to no contact to Suit the European players. The game has become a perimeter game with no contact . Six are seven years ago they were talking about the Disappearing of white and European players . With the game being physical the Average white and European couldn’t bet there other players off the dribble . Don’t get me wrong you had good white players like Larry Bird , Bill Laimbeer , Kevin McHale , and so and so . The point is there wasn’t many coming behind them . Now you do the math.

  6. Does it bother anyone else that an organization as big as ESPN WOULD PERMIT A HEADLINE THAT READS “Dirk Nowitzki and Luka Doncic IS more wavy than I was at that age”….. IS? Really!? Now wonder our youth here are stupid and ignorant….I speak three languages and it’s irritating when they are not spoken correctly, at least by people and institutions that should know better….
