  1. My World Cup team would be Rohit sharma
    Shikhar Dhawan
    Virat kohli
    Vijay Shankar
    M. S Dhoni
    Kedar Jadhav
    Hardik Pandya
    Ravendra Jadeja
    Kuldeep Yadav
    Mohammad Shami
    Jaspreet Bumrah

  2. Bumrah is more of death overs bowler than new ball bowler. Batsman find it difficult to play him in death overs but the same batsman will play him easily during the opening or mid innings. So bumrah is just good in playing mind games at death overs.

  3. The absence of Dinesh Karthik was the difference between 250 and 300.
And this match also proves that over dependenc on spinners is always dangerous.

  4. Shikhar dhawan struggling big time here.stop with icc tournaments shit.he struggled last time in England series.he laughs when he gets out.almost always gets dismissed after getting start.gets out to offspinner way too often.

  5. Stoinis tried to be dhoni and failed miserably.. Only dhoni can take the game to last over and finish it..and kohli was going to give shankar the 46th over but rohit and dhoni asked to give it to bumrah which was crucial and turning point in the game..

  6. The thing which I found about stoinis is that he was in a dilemma and a mental block in the 48th over…player of his calibre could easily have taken 3 to 4 singles or had hit a boundary…the mere reason he didn't do that as he was either in some sort of overconfidence wherein he thaught he could get the job done in the next overs(which was evident from his body language) or he was in a mental block and was indecisive of doing the right thing…or, you could also argue that he was in some sort of fear of bumrah's bowling and loosing his wicket which for me isn't rational but can be the possibility….

  7. Not that i am promoting Shanker but dude he has checked the boxes of batting and fielding and that everyone agrees.
He has bowled pretty decently in the previous matches but last game the captain took him after 3 overs and this match after 1 over- just one question who does not go for 13 runs in an over even the most experienced bowlers go, so now my question to captain virat and the coaching staff, by doing this you are demotivating shankar the bowler and this is not good for his confidence too. If virat shows trust and faith in him in the future games he will become a better bowler by giving him a role as a bowler, giving him more overs and see how improves and if that happens we can have a batting allrounder who can bowl a few overs and we have depth in batting which has been missing unlike other teams around the world.
I hope he does not get booted out once HARD dik pandya or gandya comes in. He is far stable and reliable and technical batsman than pandya who can bat according to the situations which hardik has not done nor can he do, only thing which he knows is big hitting which is full of risk of course and does not work always.
Look at other teams, SA has duminy, aussies have stoines and maxwell, england has ben stokes and moin ali, west indies have brathwaite, holder, gayle, bravo, NZ has few of them , BD has a few, SL and Pak might have few and even Afghanistan has a couple, so we should have a couple for ourselves too, which will give some depth in batting and some options in bowling .

  8. on the first tour of australia he is drafted in as a replacement for hardik….and proved as a all rounder in australia..proved as a best batsmen while ball is moving…proved again while ball is spinning in nagpur and one valuable death over ….he is knocking the WC doors for number four spot…vijay shankar man of temperent in present indian cricket…

  9. few days back this same idiots have criticised vijay shankar saying what pandya can do v shankar can't. if u want to see the real potential of a player give some time and chance for him. dont make premature analysis. sanjay manjrekar is one of the bastard who never wants a south indian cricketer in the indian squad. pl dont applaud or even criticize any player without knowing him.
