  1. My ideal Formula 1:
    2007 or 2008 cars, 3 tire compounds like in 2016. No DRS or overtake button. Air horns for audience so we can hear them again during the race. Refueling allowed, not mandatory. Rules that give bigger rewards for teams with smaller budgets. Having bigger budget is always advantage, but smaller teams need to be given rewards for doing well. If Minardi finishes 4th, they should get better rewards than Ferrari finishing first. I want Minardi back.
    Rules that support closer racing. Better a team does, less development they are allowed, and worse team does, more they are allowed to develop and test. Mercedes would still have advantage over McLaren Honda, but now McLaren Honda would have fighting change.
    Less driver aids like in 2017. Standing start at wet weather or after safety car.
    Windscreen should be made slightly larger and much stronger. Instead of just adding HALO or something from 0 to 100, we should let those things evolve slowly and see if they are necessary at all. And i suggest just increasing size and strenght of windscreen. Drivers should look trough windscreen lot of the time. It would still be very small windscreen and if there is issue with the sun, drivers should be able to look over the windscreen. Over time windscreen can be improved to remove sun glare and other issues. I don´t know if we need increased head protection for drivers, so lets leave that decision for future. At the moment just make windscreen slightly bigger and much stronger, and it is better protection than we have at the moment, but nobody should have any issues with it.
    Fat tires like in 2017, and more ground effect as well.
    Improvements to make it easier to follow cars closely, but absolutely nothing like DRS. Teams should also have as much freedom to develop their cars as possible. So it should be small improvements here and there, limit little there, demand little here, but nothing too much. It is enough if it is easier to follow cars closely as it was in 2007, no need for massive changes. And every year slowly evolve it, to make make it easier and easier to follow cars closely without changing anything too dramatically.
    Tires that wear down enough to make undercuts possible. In 2005 or 2007 it was not possible to pit in early to do undercut.

    And then just keep those rules for 20 years, and constantly evolve the rules to make it easier to follow cars closely. And that should give us fun racing. Basically i want better 2007. First year with these rules might be mess, but that could be interesting too. After multiple years with same rules (like it was from early 2000s to 2007) we will get great racing, like happened in 2007.

  2. probably the best comeback race in F1 history. there where many comebacks but none like this. no help from a major crash pile up or a sudden rainfall or anything out of the ordinary. just a head down pure racing lesson.

  3. Somebody need show this to LH.. Always complaining he can't pass.. This how you do it when u are real champ… That McLaren was less car that Renault into that time and see still beating him. I missed those days alot always fighting until lasts lap..

Forgotten three historical Japanese Grand Prix 1988 The first title of Senna 1990 the second title of Senna after collidng with rival Prost at the start and then the first double of the Brazilian Benetton with Piquet and Moreno and the Aguri Suzuki in 3 place And finaly The Senna Tri and Mclaren Marmelade sending Ayrton to let the Berger pass on the last lap
