Ronaldo to Juve could be settled within 48 hours
Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus could be wrapped up within 48 hours, reports Sky Sports News.
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez are set to meet on Tuesday for talks that could lead to the 33-year-old sealing a move to Serie A.
The Serie A champions are looking to seal a club-record £88 million (€99m/$117m) deal for the Portugal star.
Chelsea to hijack City’s Jorginho move
Chelsea could be set to hijack Manchester City’s move for Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to Tuttosport.
City were expected to land the 26-year-old, but the Italy international could now be set to follow Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues feel their offer of €60 million (£53m/$70m) will be enough to pry Jorginho away from the Premier League champions.
Some Chelsea fans have also taken notice of the fact that Jorginho’s mother has followed the Blues on Instagram.
Lewandowski to stay at Bayern
Star striker Robert Lewandowski is set to stay with Bayern Munich, reports Bild.
The 29-year-old was expected to depart the Bundesliga champions in the summer after his agent Pini Zahavi declared that he wanted a new challenge.
But after a lacklustre World Cup with Poland, the giant offers required to pry Lewandowski from Bayern may not be forthcoming.
Tottenham return for Malcom
Tottenham have again made contact with representatives for Bordeaux star Malcom, according to Le10Sport.
Spurs have also been directly in touch with the Ligue 1 side as they attempt to push through a deal for the Brazilian winger.
Inter are also in the mix for the 21-year-old, and Chelsea could also join the chase should Eden Hazard depart.
Dortmund eye Zaha
Borussia Dortmund are looking at Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha as a replacement for Andriy Yarmolenko, reports The Sun.
Yarmolenko is poised to join West Ham, leaving the Bundesliga side in need of reinforcements on the wing.
Zaha is believed to want a move to a big club again following a difficult spell at Manchester United from 2013 to 2015.
Man City move for Kovacic
Manchester City have made an enquiry for Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic, claims the Mirror.
The Premier League champions have reached a stalemate with Napoli over a fee for Jorginho, and the Croatia international is an option should a deal for Jorginho fall through.
Along with Kovacic, Miralem Pjanic of Juventus and Southampton’s Mario Lemina are also contingency plans for City.
€40m Arthur joins Barcelona
Barcelona have announced the €40 million (£35m/$47m) signing of Arthur from Gremio.
The 21-year-old will move to the Camp Nou immediately after he was expected to stay at Gremio until January 2019.
Arthur will be expected to help fill the midfield void left by Andres Iniesta and Paulinho.
Asensio to remain with Real Madrid
Real Madrid star Marco Asensio is staying with the European giants, according to his agent, despite being linked to a move to Liverpool.
Talk of an exit grew loud enough during the World Cup that Asensio was asked directly about it, with the midfielder saying he would decide his future after Spain’s World Cup was over.
On Monday, the midfielder stayed true to his world as Asensio’s agent, Horacio Gaggioli, said the midfielder will remain with Madrid.
Napoli keen on Darmian and Vrsaljko
Napoli are interested in signing full-backs Matteo Darmian and Sime Vrsaljko, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
With Faouzi Ghoulam out long term with an injury, the Partenopei have turned their attention to options from Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.
Vrsaljko is also being targeted by Inter, while Darmian has been linked with a move to Juventus.
Plea to join Monchengladbach
Nice striker Alassane Plea is set to snub Premier League interest to join Borussia Monchengladbach, according to RP Online.
The 25-year-old had been targeted by West Ham, Everton, Tottenham and Newcastle, but appears to be making a move to the Bundesliga instead.
Fenerbahce interested in Bolasie
Fenerbahce are looking to sign Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, reports Sky Sports News.
The 29-year-old has been with Everton for two seasons, but a serious knee injury in 2016 has limited him to just 32 appearances.
