The Frenchman and the Portuguese have been involved in a series of spats but the midfielder’s agent says the pair are friends again
Paul Pogba has mended his relationship with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, according to his agent, Mino Raiola.
The France international has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford in recent months, due to a series of very public spats with the Portuguese.
Pogba also claimed he was gagged from speaking to the media about his true feelings regarding United, and he recently refused to rule out a return to Juventus, for whom he signed when he first left United back in 2012.
“Who knows? I’m with United now. There is so much talk about this, but am happy to be playing for Manchester United,” he said earlier this week.
“It was wonderful coming back here, although it felt weird going into the away locker room. I was so accustomed to the Juve one.”
Raiola, though, says that his client and Mourinho are friends again, though he says Pogba carries Juventus “in his heart”.
“He has patched up his rapport with Jose Mourinho and is calmer now,” he told RaiSport.
“He feels important to Manchester United, even if Turin and Juventus remain in his heart.”
Pogba has struggled for consistency thus far this season but has three goals to his name in the Premier League, as well as three assists.

He has also scored twice in four Champions League encounters with both strikes coming in a 3-0 win over Young Boys.
The World Cup winner will next be in action in the Manchester derby on Sunday, and will be hoping for a repeat of the 2017-18 season, when he scored twice, inspiring a remarkable fightback, as United came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
