It has been a season to forget for Fulham on their return to the Premier League, meanwhile, as they have won just four matches all season and are at serious risk of being cut adrift in the race for survival. Claudio Ranieri’s side have lost four of their last five top-flight matches and are seven points from safety ahead of today’s fixtures.

A rejuvenated United are without defeat in 10 matches in all competitions under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and have collected 22 points from a possible 24 in the top flight since December 22. Solskjaer’s men are now up to fifth place and can climb above Chelsea – two points better off in the final Champions League qualification berth – with another victory today.
