Deepu Narayanan is already digging out some numbers.
Teams winning all home matches in a season:
RR in Jaipur: 7-0 in 2008
CSK in Chennai: 8-0 in 2011
RR in Jaipur: 8-0 in 2013
MI in Mumbai WS: 8-0 in 2013
KKR in Kolkata: 4-0 in 2014
RR have won all of their last six games againt DD. The last time DD beat RR was in 2012 in Jaipur – their only win at this venue.
Ganesh also has some inputs regarding the playing XIs, “Doesn’t look like Archer will play today. He’s bowling left-arm spin and legspin in the warmups. Doesn’t look fully fit. Can’t see Royals making any changes.” Meanwhile, the Australia’s Big Show is set to return for Delhi, “Maxwell looks set to come in. He’s been doing a lot of practice,” he adds.
All our players have arrived and we’re looking to bounce back. ????

Our man, Ganesh Chandrasekaran has an update on the weather, “Hellos, update from Jaipur is that the match looks set to start on time. There was a little bit of rain in the afternoon but the skies have cleared up.” So that is good news.
Hello and welcome to the live blog of the sixth game in IPL 2018 between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils in Jaipur.
Delhi Daredevils, on the other hand, were outplayed by Kings XI. Gautam Gambhir continued his love affair with the IPL by registering his 36th fifty, but apart from that they were no telling contributions from the rest of the order. The return of Glenn Maxwell will boost the batting department and give them the much required oomph in the middle overs. The bowlers though need to be more consistent and disciplined if they are to restrict the opposition.
Ajinkya Rahane’s team looked rusty with the bat barring Sanju Samson. D’Arcy Short playing his first IPL game was runout in the very first over while the England duo of Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler failed to reach double figures. The unavailability of Jofra Archer to injury also didn’t help their case as they missed an X-factor in their bowling attack. However, playing at home and on a surface that has aided the batsmen, Royals should put up a better show.
Hope everyone has recovered from yesterday’s encounter. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) showed how much they were missed in the last two seasons. Today it is the turn of the other team returning to their home den – Rajasthan Royals and they will be back at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium after a gap of almost five years – they last played at their so called fortress in 2013. And the opponents for the Royals tonight will be Delhi Daredevils. Both teams had a forgettable first game, Royals thrashed by SunRisers Hyderabad while Daredevils lost to Kings XI Punjab.
