EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern looks to get back to .500 in Big Ten play Sunday when it travels to Indiana. Tip time is set for 3:30 p.m. Central.

Northwestern (11-7, 2-3 B1G) is coming off an 83-60 home victory over Minnesota on Wednesday. Scottie Lindsey scored a game-high 22 points while Bryant McIntosh set a school record with 16 assists. McIntosh became the first Division I player in 13 seasons to post at least 16 turnovers in a game without committing a turnover. The Wildcats finished with a 45-26 rebounding advantage.

Northwestern has hit at least 11 3-point field goals in six of its last nine contests. The Wildcats rank fourth in the Big Ten with an average of 8.7 3-point field goals per game. NU is 6-2 this season when making double-figure triples in a game.

McIntosh won a pair of Indiana prep state championships at Greensburg High School. He is the lone Indiana native on Northwestern’s roster. McIntosh ranks eighth in Big Ten history with 653 career assists.

The contest also will be a homecoming for NU director of player development A.J. Guyton who was an All-American and the Big Ten Player of the Year during his collegiate career with the Hoosiers.

Northwestern has won nine of its last 16 matchups against Indiana. NU’s lone previous meeting against a team coached by Archie Miller was a 67-64 win by the Wildcats over Dayton Dec. 17, 2016 at United Center in Chicago.

Scouting Indiana

The Hoosiers (10-7, 3-2 B1G) have won their last two contests, most recently posting a 74-70 home win over Penn State on Tuesday. Juwan Morgan led five Indiana players in double figures with 21 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Morgan paces the team with averages of 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Archie Miller is in his first season as head coach after previously serving at the helm of Dayton.
