Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is already planning his revenge.
After getting released by the Cowboys last week, Bryant is aiming to land on an NFC East team. He told the NFL Network on Friday he was interested in joining one of Dallas’ divisional rivals because he’d “like to play the Cowboys twice.”
And now, Bryant has expressed genuine interest in joining one of the the Cowboys’ biggest NFC East rivals, the New York Giants.
“The Giants got a helluva defense,” Bryant told 247Sports.com in a story published Monday. “They’re going to pay OBJ (Odell Beckham Jr.), so (he will be) coming back. Playing with him, Sterling (Shepard) … the tight end (Evan Engram), (Eli) Manning. Crazy. …That’d be crazy. (If) they draft (Penn State running back Saquan Barkley with the No. 2 overall pick)? That’d be crazy!”
In the 247Sports interview, Bryant said his decision “won’t be about the money” and also expressed interest in the Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers.
