Mauricio Pochettino will run the rule over his squad ahead of the new campaign as Spurs take on the Serie A giants in New Jersey
Tottenham continue their preparations for the 2017-18 season when they take on Serie A runners-up Roma in the International Champions Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men got their pre-season off to a wonderful start with an emphatic 4-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain and will be aiming to carry that form through to the start of the Premier League in August.
Roma lost their opening game of the tournament against PSG, going down on penalties after the teams could not be separated in normal time and new boss Eusebio Di Francesco will be keen to have his team taste victory, with games against Juventus and Sevilla still to come.
The game is being played at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, which, with a capacity of 25,000, is the third largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States. Note that, due to the time difference, the game kicks off at 01:00 in the United Kingdom.

SQUADS & TEAM NEWS
Tottenham fans would have been heartened to see Mousa Dembele play 60 minutes against PSG as the Belgium international completes his recovery from injury, while Harry Winks also returned to action after a four-month spell on the sidelines.
Pochettino named Dembele in the starting line-up against the Ligue 1 side alongside first-team regulars such as Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier. Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli and Victor Wanyama came on in the second half as the Spurs boss mixed things up.

While Dembele and Winks are available for selection once again, Pochettino is unable to call upon the services of Danny Rose, Heung-min Son, Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko, who did not travel to the US because of injuries.
Roma lost one of their best players from last season as Mohamed Salah signed for Liverpool, but the Giallorossi have managed to keep hold of defender Kostas Manolas and the Greece international played for 45 minutes in the defeat to PSG.
Another star who has been linked with an exit from the Italian capital club is Radja Nainggolain, but he is part of the tour squad and appears committed to another season at the club at least.
New arrival from Sassuolo Lorenzo Pellegrini played in the loss to PSG and Roma fans could get a glimpse of Aleksandar Kolarov and Gregoir Defrel against Spurs. Federico Fazio, meanwhile, could line out against his former club, having made his loan spell at the Olimpico permanent in June.
Tottenham are favourites to win at 13/10, according to dabblebet, while Roma are considered a 15/8 bet to beat the Premier League side.
Meanwhile, a draw between the teams in New Jersey is priced at 5/2.
Unlike their Premier League rivals, Tottenham have not managed to make a splash in the transfer market this summer and they have even lost one of their star players in Kyle Walker, who left for Manchester City.
However, Pochettino’s men have still hit the ground running in pre-season and their 4-2 win over PSG was a significant marker to lay down, even allowing for the fact it was a friendly.
Dembele and Winks have both returned to full fitness, while Rose, Son, Lamela and Sissoko will all be making their comebacks at various stages, so the Spurs team will have a relatively new feeling to it despite the lack of transfer activity.
Porto right-back Ricardo Pereira, who spent the last two season on loan at Nice, is a rumoured target for Pochettino, but he may have a ready-made substitute for Walker in the form of the Kyle Walker-Peters or Kieran Trippier, who were deployed on the right side of defence in the last outing.
Either way, the Argentine coach will have plenty of opportunities to weigh up his options with games against Manchester City and Juventus to come after the match against Roma.
