The German playmaker is absent through injury, but Jack Wilshere has shaken off a knock picked up in a Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea to make Arsene Wenger’s starting XI.
Alex Iwobi is also included again despite struggling at Stamford Bridge in midweek.

They may be required to play a part at some stage, as the Gunners seek to snap a four-match winless run.
